About Me
Hi, my name’s Minkyun Seo. I am an undergraduate student at Seoul National University.
I’m double-majoring in Computer Science and Engineering and Architecture Engineering.
While recent advancements in generative models have revolutionized 2D design processes, 3D modeling has yet to benefit from these advancements fully. During my studies, I worked in parametric 3D modeling and often encountered repetitive tasks that required human intuition, making them difficult to automate. This sparked my interest in leveraging machine perception to transform these processes.
My primary focus has two key objectives:
- Accurately replicating real-world environments in virtual spaces
- Enabling the editing and reshaping of these 3D spaces
I am determined to redefine the way we design and interact with digital environments by building systems that can perceive and interpret the world as humans do

Avatar Texture Enhancement via 3D Patch-wise SSIM Loss

PlayEye is a toy designed to prevent pediatric myopia by naturally encouraging eye movement through play.
The entire hardware and software were developed from scratch, and I was responsible for the software part.
PlayEye won the grand prize at the "SNU Creative Design Fair" and received a travel grant to attend MWC 2024 in Barcelona.

Department Office Chatbot
This chatbot is designed to answer inquiries for department office staff based on university regulations.
This project won 2nd place at FriendliAI LLM Hackathon.
YOCO is a cooking AI based on the Unbiased teacher v2 network. It assists users in cooking by predicting the doneness of ingredients.
YOCO won 2nd place at SNU Ambient AI Competition.

• Working on enhancing Geometric Feature Generalizability in point cloud registration
• Developed 5+ registration datasets using TSDF-based reconstruction and ray-traced LiDAR simulation
• Created a pipeline for learning general geometric features from data collected across diverse environments and acquisition methods
